It's all about timing on the beaches. Obviously the main beaches in Honolulu will be crowded during the day. No one cares whether you go in the ocean in the skimpiest of bikinis or fully clothed. There's a lot of playing in the surf. There are some beaches that are going to be less crowded the further you get away from the main drag, and if you hit the beach as the sun is setting you're good to go. Be aware, the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii is not the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. It can be quite chilly! As to which beaches are less crowded; think Waimanalo or Makaha (opposite sides of the island). Another place to consider is Sand Island Beach.

By Swim In Clothes - swim.in.clothes@hotmail.com Thu 21/12/23 04:35:13 GMT Hi all,
Going to Honolulu Hawaii in a few weeks and knowing it's surrounded by an ocean is pretty exciting. Wondering if anyone is aware of any good wetlook spots - secluded places to get wet without a lot of people or other opportunities like it?
Thanks
