So I had to figure out how to tell partners via trial and error, because everyone reacts differently. This is the explanation that always worked best for me (typically I would bring it up right after having sex or during intimate texting):

Me: that was good sex, but I’m wondering… do you have any fetishes or kinks? Something different you like that would make next time even more special for you?

Her: [she either reveals her secret fetish or says no — but inevitably says, “what about you?”

I've gotten close a couple of times, but never actually scored one. Now, though I'm wondering how I'll approach the subject in the event that I do, because it's something that'll have to come up eventually.

My wife has been a willing participant ever since we first started dating. Coincidentally she’s been swimming in clothes all her life because of very fair skin and a family history of skin cancer. So when I told her about my fetish she said she’d be happy to oblige since it wasn’t really out of the ordinary for her anyway. So now every time we go to the beach or pool I get my wetlook fix 😁 my favorite is when we go snorkeling on vacation, when she REALLY needs to cover up, and then I get to see her swim in a complete outfit.
