Change of clothes, or towel? Nah, I personally never bother (except in a public swimming pool where they don't like street clothing or "long and flowing" clothing). When I swim in the sea or local rivers I always go in as I am, including shoes, ankle-length kaftan, baggy leggings, hippie beads, ankle bracelets, shoulder bag, and sometimes a cyan or pink wig :) It's all polyester or acrylic or similar quick-drying material, not cotton or wool, so it's dry by the time I walk back to the station. TV? Only Grafters (one episode as an "extra" running into the sea in the blue Adidas top and trackies, apparently) and a candid shot in M15 (?) in a kaftan top chasing girls round Trafalgar fountain and pushing them in :) Public pools: just a long-sleeved rashie and knee-length swim shorts (except for the wedding dress (!) I wore once at Wavelengths, (with pool management permission), mentioned elsewhere). Always fill your day with wonderful things! |
In reply to Message (94119) TV audience members spontaneously getting wet
By whychange - Mon 20/03/23 10:23:45 GMT I've always loved the idea of members of the audience of a TV show getting soaking wet in their clothes completely unplanned and without a charge of clothes.
I remember seeing a clip once from a TV show where they had a pool and the moderator (i think it was Dini Petty) asked if anyone from the audience wants to go in and a girl gets up and just jumps in. And then the moderator even asked how she plans on getting home all wet.
Does anyone have this Video or similar videos?
