Yeah. It's made some significant progress over the past several years.

Just got GTA5 installed and put in some Script Hook V I think its called, you can choose who you will portrait or play,. male, female...different ages and some of them with different clothes.
If you go be wet at the beach or pool....You will see the clothes turn in to.....Yeah you know what. :)
Fb groups think accept things like this but maybe easier to find someone who like that thing here.
