Yes, but storage space is expensive. Computers, say laptops come with better and better graphics, but the hard drives either stayed the same, got smaller or you have to pay tons for bigger options (either on buying the computer or later for external) which means many people who want to have a variety of stuff, are fine with HD. Also OP asked for pics, and it seems people generally care less and less about pics with many sites turning to videos only, so hosting huge pics doesn't make sense imho, as for video I also prefer 4K, but full HD on a good camera and with a nice bit-rate is also fine if you watch the stuff on a laptop or iPad. I'm not sure many people watch wetlook on huge TV screens unless they a) live alone) or b) live with someone who accepts the fetish, as this would be weird to explain to other people ;)

I think that only few people are still watching full hd. 4K is affordable those days.

You are aware, that storage costs money and barely any sites (wetlook or other) offer 4k pics (some offer 4k vids) and none (or almost none) offer 5k pics, so if you bought a top end monitor that very few have, it isn't really worth it for producers to accommodate it? Not trying to be mean, just know the costs of storage/bandwidth and the percentage of clients that want 4/5k PICS. The math is off and will be for quite a few years when it comes to pics.
