By Doc Foster - Thu 29/08/19 13:52:45 GMT Here is a video showing a side by side of original vs AI upscaled video. I used a crop of an old ice bucket challenge.
If you have the hardware (I don't) you can see it in 4K. Let me know how that looks, because, as I say, I don't have the hardware to view it at that resolution. It looks ok at 1080p, but I don't know if 4K is an improvement.
Videos have to be clear, in focus and have good contrast and high SNR for this procedure to work at its best.
For a comparison, an ibc video that was a bit fuzzy produces fairly disappointing results:
Certainly not worth the hour+ of processing and mucking about.
