Just found this on Youtube... not the commerical you describe (which I can't recall seeing), not even wetlook, but...

The spokesmodel is the late Natalie Wood. Makes me wonder if she might have been the brunette in the commercial you remember, given that when a celebrity appears in advertising, it tends to be for an entire campaign rather than a single spot.

I find the script of this commercial oddly disturbing, given the time frame.

I have this vague memory of a U.S. TV commercial that I saw as a young boy (5-7) in the early/mid '70s. It was for Raintree cosmetics. I remember a brunette model dressed in a white blouse and white pants (trousers), laying in the grass, talking about the product. It was raining, and she was totally drenched. I think I'm remembering it right. My memories of that time are fuzzy, but sights like that made an impression on me even at that young age. Does anyone else remember seeing this?
