Of course I remember you.....who could forget when an 18 wheeler truck shows up at your driveway.

Yeah....Fiesta magazine (a UK magazine owned by Paul Raymond in London) was a great source for me in the early 70's too....cos their early 70's magazines contained the earliest wet and messy photosets....i.e. Colin Twyford's famous "Bride in the Bath" and "Brides in the mud" appeared inthat magazine in 1974. The reason that Fiesta magazine editors portrayed wetlook  in their magazine is because in the early 70's Bill Shipton worked for Paul Raymond as a writer and photographer for various wet and messy photosest in Raymond's main magazine, Mayfair, and his other mags, Fiesta and Razzle. Bill Shipton was not only a writer for Raymond but keen on promoting the wam culture (that Bill used to call "Sploshing")...and later in the late 1980's Bill started the first wet and magazine called Splosh. Bill is still active today and I regularly chat with him every month.

In 1992 I was in contact with Wetfan (whom you and Graham know)....cos while Bill was producing his magazine in the UK, Wetfan was creating his famous Wetlook Newsletter in the early 90's too.

Basically.....the "inspiration" for me to make my own videos.....was all thanks to Hugh Hefner and his "Wet and Wild" series.....cos that series was so lame and seemed to miss the entire point of what I considered to be wetlook.....so I was unsatisfied with what was available in those days....so I decided to make it myself. I daresay many other wetlook producers felt the same way...and they were not satisfied with the way others were shooting wetlook, so they wanted to shoot it their own way in their own style.

The irony is....I only started doing wetlook and messy videos cos there was nothing else available at that time that catered to my interests......but if I were 30 years younger and just starting out in 2012....I would probably have no interest any more....cos now we are all "flooded" with wetlook from Youtube....and this has somewhat "dampened" my interest.....cos we are overdosing on too much of a good thing these days.

I have followed your site as well, and you are doing a fine job at producing interesting media........ I no longer live in Jupiter, cos my wife and I moved to the Palm Beach area now. I can't shoot wetlook models in the pool at my current home....cos my neighborhood development is pretty stuffy and they would probably report me to the Homeowners Association....so these days I go to Tracie Z''s place to do most shoots, cos she lives only 2 miles away.

Has it been 20 years?? It just didn't seem that long ago. As you said, back in those days, I thought I was the only one with this crazy addiction. I didn't even know this thing had a name.

Yours was one of the first I found on the subject, Interestingly I didn't find you on the internet. In those days I didn't own a computer no less had access to the internet. In my quest to find wetlook, which is now taken for granted, I often frequented an adult bookstore for the elusive wetlook magazine spread. Back then, I think it was Fiesta magazine, that would sometimes have wetlook content, but more often than not I was usually disappointed. One day, I hit the jackpot. I don't recall if it was Fiesta or some other magazine, but the cover of that magazine had some sort of promotion for various fetishes. In it, there was a sort of flyer which not only contained the usual stuff like bondage and other kinks, but among them was this thing called "wetlook". The description made my jaw drop. The producer was something called Wamtec out of a place called Jupiter, Florida, a place that I often drove thru.

I also got to meet you a couple of times, I know you wouldn't forget me, I was the guy who showed up at your place driving an 18 wheeler. =) Anyway since then, I have myself begun my own wetlook site and my how time flies as it has been online now for about 5 yrs.

Anyway, Tess and I would like to congratulate you on reaching 20yrs and we wish you another 20,

Sincerely EdR and Tess

Well.....20 years have gone by real fast, cos next month marks the 20th anniversary when Wamtec video productions started. These days the youngsters take things like facebook and youtube and online media for granted, and few people remember that back in 1992 we did not even have web browsers and a way to surf the internet that Al Gore had invented for us to get our jollies.

Back when we firsted went online in 1992, without web browsers and forums around the wetlook fans all lived in isolation on bulletin board systems.... with the number one question wetlook fans had in those days.....i.e. Am I the only person in the entire world who feels this way about wetlook......Am I a freak of nature. Thankfully that question was answered a few years later....i.e. you are not alone....and there are other people who share those interests. From 1992 until mid 1995 my online friends (my first 300 wetlook contacts) all came from Compuserve, Prodigy and Delphi boards, and from the Usenet Newsgroup systems. Then in 1995 we were able to browse trhe internet more fully via the first browsers (Netscape) that you did not need to be a rocket scientist to understand how to use. This led to the opening of the very first wet & messy website verify.php?redirect=/index.php / www.messyfun.com in August of 1995, and the first Wamtec website opened one month later in September 1995. The owner of Messyfun passed away in November 2000, and the Wamtec site is currently the longest running wam site on the internet.

It is amazing to see how things have changed in 20 years.....i.e. who could have imagined in 1992 that one day you would be shooting videos with pocket sized cameras and cellphones, and that you could download entire movies in less than 3 minutes.....i.e. in less time that it takes you to run to your corner video store to pick up a rental video as we used to do in the 1980's. If I go back 30 years and 40 years ......30 years ago I was newly married and the only person who knew about my wetlook hobbies was my wife, who was my model for all my early 80's video shoots. 40 years ago in 1972....I was a teenager who could never find enough wetlook to satisfy my hunger for it, and so I used to spend WAY too much time browsing books and magazines at the public library or various adult bookstores in Soho, London....and spending too much time wandering the beaches in the UK with my poloroid camera and hanging out all day at the fountains in Trafalgar Square in London......talk about a mis-spent youth.

So.....where will we be in another 10 years.....who knows. Perhaps we will one day be able to have holographic wetlook games where you can actually project wetlook girls right into your home. For me, the 2 inventions I most want to have....have still not been invented yet...i.e.

1) I want a time machine like Dr Who has....so I can go back in time to see wetlook eras in the past....cos I prefer the fashions from the 1800's to the 1970's.......and do do not really care much for the fashion trends in the last 20 years....and

2) I want to have a DVR that can record my dreams......cos I dream up amazing wetlook adventures that are WAY  better than any video I have ever seen or made.....so if I could just download my dreams.....that would be awesome.

Anyway....to celebrate our 20th anniversary year, we are giving away extra Free DVDs with all DVD orders this year.....so whenever you are ordering a dvd just email me and say "I want my free DVDs" and you can double your order and choose additional dvds that you want added to your orders.
