Well, Desert Hawk, I have a ton of baptism flicks, with socks of course, sitting in my bookmarks waiting to be posted.
I IM with other wetlookers, and some are Christian, and not one has complained of me posting baptism flicks of girls in socks. Lake Monster is right! The only people screaming about baptism flicks around here are non-Christians!
If you, Desert Hawk, or one of my IM friends who are Christian ever complain about me posting baptism flicks in my wet socks posts, I'll knock it off, but that hasn't happened. I'll also knock it off if Nigel bans baptism flicks, but that hasn't happened either. The atheists and non-Christians in this forum claim they're being sensitive to Christians about not wanting to mix wetlook and religion, but yes, I've noticed Lake Monster's assertion that only atheists and non-Christians are the ones complaining about baptism videos seems to be true. I can only conclude that religious sensitivity isn't the motive, and the motive is instead they just hate religion, or just Christianity, and don't want to be faced with it.
Oh, and yes, I'll admit it, I'm not a Christian, but one the churches I've found video on Vimeo where a lot of the girls won't take off their socks before they get in the inflatable pool for baptism is only 54 miles from where I work, and I'm usually getting off work early on a Sunday morning, so I can make it to church on time. I can't wait for baptism Sunday again! |

By Desert Hawk - Wed 14/12/11 08:40:26 GMT I am a Southern Baptist. I approve of baptism pictures being posted here, in fact I have posted some over the years. I especially like combining 2 of my favorite activities. Baptisms combine my love of religion with my love of wetlook. Same as water rides combine my love of amusement rides with my love of wetlook. The scenario of someone becoming interest in Christianity after looking at baptism pictures, staring to go to church, and eventually becoming a Christian would be wonderful. |

By Lake Monster - Sun 11/12/11 23:13:59 GMT We've had this discussion before, and Nigel has answered this question before, on several occasions. Baptisms are allowed here.
Why is it that the people who complain the most about baptisms are the ones that usually start off their complaint with something like "I'm not a Christian, but..." or "I'm an atheist, but...", yet I don't remember reading a single complaint about baptisms from forum users who have stated they are Christian?
Are these people afraid someone's going to be convicted of their sin from watching a YouTube baptism flick and get saved?
That would be an interesting testimony to watch on YouTube.
"I used to be an atheist, and I never went to church. I started watching baptism videos on YouTube, and that's when I knew something was missing in my life. I started coming to Suburban Mega Church every Sunday morning instead of just watching the baptism videos on YouTube. Now, I've accepted Christ, and instead of watching baptisms, I'm getting baptized!" |

By Sponge14U - Sun 11/12/11 16:50:40 GMT ...but i can get REALLY mad,if religion and sexual content ist mixed up. Maybe i am wrong, and no one else feels offended by *baptism*-postings. Then just erase my postings and carry on-Nigel. i won't wach any more.
