You are describing one of the subsets already - auto erroticism. You are turned on in getting yourself wet. To some posters here that is the be-all and end-all. Others, like me, enjoy wet girls, and are bored to tears by the many postings here of how peachy it feels to get into a shower in your clothes. Bring a girl in with you, and I am with you. By yourself? (As the waiter sometimes says) "enjoy,." Just don't waste your time telling me about it.

By WetLeeSteve - Sun 13/01/08 22:39:08 GMT If that were the case, how come some are into it all their lives? It's either a taste we acquire somewhere in our lives, and some get it sooner than others. The Advent of the internet has sure brought out a lot of it.
Each of us have our own tastes. It's been stated by many of the regulars numerous times. This has come up allot over the last few years here. . . Preferences, why we do it. . all that.
I acquired the desire for wetness many years ago. Like as long as I can remember. At my age, it's not something you grow out of easily either! Even being self employed does nothing to deter it. But I go to my multi-million dollar business every day in Jeans and Sneakers. When it rains hard, I find an excuse to go out and check my windows. Then stay that way for the rest of the day. While others in the office don't like it. So the bottom line is, Who Knows! We're here, and enjoying looking at girls in wet jeans and shirts, enjoying every minute.
I don't think we'll ever have an answer to this one |

By wetwhiteandblue - Sun 13/01/08 20:32:31 GMT I think fetishes are something you are born with and not acquired like someone who has an interest in certain sports while others don't. I'm sure it has to do with certain genes that control our character as we mature. Everyone has fetishes ranging from "normal" to just down plain weird. Being turned on by looking at a sexy women is natural and considered a "normal" fetish, though most people don't like to characterize that as a fetish. But by the mere definition of causing a person to be aroused would certainly qualify it as a fetish. I think it's safe to say that most of the populace is in this catagory.
However, the further you move away from normal fetishes, the less number of people will have it. Where on the scale does wet clothes stand? Probably low when you considered the number of people with the fetish compared to normal. Then even within wet clothes fetishes, you also have different degrees considering your range of interest within the fetish. Do you like only wet jeans or skirts, or do you like everything that's wetlook? So many sub-catagories, yet the uniqueness of each one is what sets up apart.
As for me, I was born with "Wet Genes" (pardon the pun!) |

By Wet Guy - Sun 13/01/08 19:40:25 GMT Guys - this topic has been tossed around from time to time.
I for one don't have the answer as to why we love to see ladies in wet clothing. Seems to me there must be a "gene" of some kind that turns us on. The more I thought about this fetish, the more I think that there is a gene in all of us that makes us react certain ways to certain kinds of stimuli. For example, why do some like leather so much? Why are some into feet? How about long hair? It just doesn't seem to make sense that these are "learned" reactions or behaviors. The gene for such reaction is either "turned on" or "turned off."
Does that make sense to you? Would be interested in the opinion of others to this question that I have pondered for a long time but have never been able to come to a good answer on. Thanks.
