Ok for you tube vids, pretty much anything you can find online that saved the video by you giving them the link will want it saved in a .FLV format, to play this back you will need either an FLV player or a codec for Windows Media Player for FLVs....
You can get a lot of the info you need here...
http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php
remember, you may need to type .FLV yourself when saving any file, so save them as Name.FLV not just Name
Lately this site hasnt always been working but it is what most people used to use for YouTube, maybe YT has changed the way it stores the videos and they havnt ammended the site yet.
Good Luck
PS if you want a saver for anything else try flvdown, its a pretty good program

By soggybottom - Mon 24/09/07 21:49:13 GMT I've been saving the link in Favorite Places and play them from there when I'm on line. I'd like to know how to save them also. |

By Scott - scottbrochert@hotmail.com Mon 24/09/07 21:34:49 GMT I just downloaded the Youtube videos of those girls raindancing, and can't play them (Windows media Player can't play them). Is there a program or something that lets you convert the youtube format to Windows Media Player?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Scott
