last summer it even led to a weekly summer ritual with a pair of coworkers. fathers' day is a heavy brunch crowd and on of the cooks and another waitress and i were leaving together, talking about how we were both too tired and too tense to do anything for the rest of the day. we were about to go our separate ways when the cook, michael, said he had something in his car to take care of the tension. soon we're in a secluded, but sunny and windless corner of the parking lot, "relaxing" and complaining about the heat. which led nicely into my suggestion, which was soon followed by 3 upright citizens, aside from our views on "illegal" substances enjoying a refreshing dip in the river.
