My earliest wetlook memory was at the age of 9 and it still haunts me to this day, perhaps someone can help me. I was watching TV, it was an old B&W movie, I missed the beginning so can only guess at the elements that led up to his predicament. A man was being haunted by a woman in a long flowing white gown, 50s prom dress like, she would appear and he would follow her to the lake. (I am thinking he might have been responsible for her death at the lake) The second time she led him to the lake she stepped out into the water, the hem of her gown wet, when he got close she vanished. The next time she led him out until she was knee deep in that gown, he followed her in and she vanished. At this time I was well aware something was happening to me but it gets better. Again she led him to the lake but this time she walked out into the water very far, her gown floating up around her, so very beautiful!!!!! One last time she led him to the lake, the scene lasted forever as she swam out farther and farther into the lake, her gown floating and teasing (me) as he followed swimming faster and farther, as usual she disappeared,,,but the kicker is that he was so far from shore and it was so dark he grew tired and drown. Shame the guy drown but perhaps it was justice, the images of that lady in that incredible gown stepping so purposely into the water has haunted me since that time, now I can't get enough of it. I should have looked at the TV guide the next morning but I didnt, anyone have any ideas??
