I don't even understand your problem ... are you by any chance using some sort of anonymiser/privacy tool or browser setting that blocks the Referer HTTP field or sets it to a value like "XXXX://XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"? I can only guess that such a tool is causing the site to think you're being linked from another site and preventing it.
