By MikeyABQ - Fri 16/02/18 00:55:23 GMT Guys, what are your opinions on CCBill? I mean I’ve used it a few times with a low limit credit card, but am a bit wary of using this payment processor (unlike any other) with my main cards. The issues I see are:
1) CCBill tends to want A LOT of your data. Full address, phone number, everything in most countries. Paypal style, while being less reputable than paypal. Unlike say Verotel which works just fine minimal data (name, cc number, expiration date, cvv)
2) I’ve once tried CCBill from Poland and had my biggest WTF moment. The year was 2017. The choosing of a region was mandatory. And the regions were... pre-1999 regions. But that’s not all, almost half of them were misspelled. And I don’t mean just the ones with Polish letters. The capital region of Warsaw (pre-99) was spelled Warazawa... while the Polish spelling of Warsaw is Warszawa. So someone hit the wrong key... and they kept it for years? Decades? I’ve never seen such things on sites of CC processors. Also the whole thing is useless I’ve used a random non-misspelled region some 300 km away from the one in which my Polish credit card was issued and it still was approved.
So a weird CC processor... anyone had problems with it?
