But Waiy!!
Dont jump to conclusions. The big problem seems that fibrous items, cotton and wool, produce more fibers than regular swim items. So all you have to do, which the YMCA guy didnt, is clean out the pump motor basket 2 days after heavy clothing use. Two days gives it more time to filter out. The skimmer basket should be checked regularly during use, before and after. The fibers from cotton clothing do nothing to damage the water, pool, plumbing, or pumps. The motor in this guys case burned out because the water i take got plugged up. And that was caused by not looking at the basket FOR A MONTH!! Enjoy your pool. Any way you want. Wearing anything you want. The sweet one and I even wash off mud frolics. Small pool, oversize filter, water is crystal clear in 2 days.
Enjoy life, its the only one you have. |

By MK - wamtec@comcast.net Wed 04/01/12 04:22:19 GMT OK....so no cotton is allowed in the pool.
No big woop - so we should organize a flashmob event at that YMCA pool then....where everybody shows up wearing leather or satin or suede or cashmere |
