"Value for money" depends on the nature of your personal circumstances and purchasing power.
If you want to travel from A to B, you can get there in many different ways, of your own choice and personal circumtances, you can
- walk or hitchhike (which is free) - buy a bus ticket (a low cost expense) - buy yourself an economy car, like a Honda - buy yourself a luxury car, like a Mercedes, and travel in style - if you have the means, have your own private jet or helicopter
If you ask people what method provides the best value for money, you will get different answers, depending on your purchasing power. More affluent people are going to say that they consider it good value for money to be able travel in style, whereas less affluent will always consider the cheapest method to be the best value for their income level.
Some producers make high quality "steak"...which costs a lot to produce, whereas others produce "hamburgers"...which are cheaper to make and sell for a much lower prices. That is not to say that steak is overpriced or that hamburgers are underpriced...I am just saying that you cannot compare a fine steakhouse to a hamburger fast food outlet for what offers he best value for money...cos they are totally different entities.
But if you want to end all debate and get a simple answer, your best value for money for video media is Youtube, and for photos it is Flickr.com....cos nobody in the wam world can compete with that.....but Youtubes are the lowest quality hamburgers (you get your hamburger delivered to you sideways).
I am a consumer myself....and I will not buy a cheap camera or use a cellphone in order to make videoclips or photos......I prefer to spend more to get high end HD camera equipments, same goes for computers and flat screen tv's.....I like to buy the high end best equipments that I can afford, and I consider that good value for money to get the higher quality stuff. I am not gonna buy a cheap/small flat screen tv for $400 to watch movies and HDTV....I like to buy the biggest monitor I can afford....which is gonna cost at least 4 times more.....and I still consider that good value for the money I spent.
But you can't make comparisons to different wetlook producers, cos their style and media and productions are liking comparing apples to oranges, or like trying to compare a Honda to a Mercedes.....i.e. Hondas are great value for people on a low budget, but those folks who like to travel in style will say that a Mercedes is great value too.

By Tim - Mon 15/03/10 17:51:46 GMT ... the best website to subscribe to for a month, I've been here years and I know its down to personal taste but who thinks you get value for money???????? These guys put a lot of work into their production some just give you Photos, some give you movies and some just repeats of other peoples work.
I've just down loaded from EE's download store some photos.... hummm I spent $14 for pictures of 4 girls, when I could have spent the same from MostWet and got a good 15 minute movie of all different types of wet look.
We need a poll, marks out of ten and constructive opinions I don't want to take all the hard work away these guys, but a the same time we all need value for money, I was shocked not to get a small movie with the photos, so I give EE's downloads a 2 out of 10, great pictures but no movie or sound but at a high price compared with MostWet.
When you have down loaded a site and want to voice your opinion (constructive only) type in the subject box REVIEW POLL so we all know your posted a review of the site you have joined.
Like I said we all have personal taste but it's the production we're paying for and that important for value for money.
Just a thought.
