A few weeks ago KCET Kids and Family in L.A. showed a rerun of "Land of the Lost" (from 1974, a show about a family transported back in time to the time of the dinosaurs, produced by the Krofft brothers) where the girl jumped in a small lake wearing brown jeans (possibly the old Sears Toughskins) and a checkered shirt. An example of really bad continuity because shortly after climbing out she was dry again. I remember watching this as a 5 year old kid and wondering how in the world she could get dry that fast. It never occured to by young mind that the dry scenes were filmed either before or long after the wet scene, possibly not on the same day. |

By Blackfox - timberwolf44@yahoo.com Mon 06/02/12 04:07:21 GMT Hi All,
Does anyone remember any kids tv dramas from yesteryear?? I can't remember much about them, but there are a couple I have been trying to think of, and track down, but without the titles, its pointless.
1) All I can remember is there was a dark skinned girl stood in a witches cave, by a rock pool, she falls in the rock pool, and the next thing you know is she is in a centre parks swimming pool.
2) All I remember from this one is that it was an autralian drama, and two girls where trapped in some kind of water tank, in a river, and in order to get out one had to swim down and through some kind of a passage, in order to let the other one out.
3) Is a lot more recent, and all I can tell you about it is, it is about a group of youths working some kind of circus (Very SiFi).
So if anyone has any ideas I would be glad to hear them. Or if you can think of any of your own, lets see if we can help..
