Someone probably has a rich sponsor or is an estate agent who couldn't sell his property and it's gonna be bulldozed so decided to have some fun by flooding every room. It's somewhat stupid not to turn the electricity off first though. I'd love to be rich enough to fulfill my fantasies like this, but there are more structurally safe methods of doing it, like making a tarpaulined wet room, getting cheap furniture from charity shops, and using an isolation transformer and an RCD so you don't electrocute youself before you drown yourself. Maybe Sybaris could develop the idea, and have a bedroom which gradually fills with water as one is woohooing the bride, like "The Virgin and the Gypsy". I'd definitely love to play in it
