The issue of full nudity is where a set of images is linked to, where the model strips to nude at the end - obviously if there is no wetlook invovled in the set of images, then they are not a wetlook set and should not be posted at all, this is purely for people who want a warning that the model strips off later on.
Privacy: By definition (or at least by 'law' in most countries), anything you do "in public" is not in private, and is not an invasion of privacy, please reffer to MK's original post about US rulings on video/photos taken in public - if you frolic at a beach, fountain or any event open to the public, then this is "in public". If you get wet on the beach, then go to the toilets, and change, then footage shot in the 'privacy' of a toilet is NOT public. Basically, any picture that records something that anyone could have seen whilst out and about is acceptable.
If someone can suggest some better wording, then I'm open to changing it - the problem comes with things like webshots of 'private' parties, or with pics posted to voyerweb of some guy's girlfriend in the shower, when they were she meant them only for his personal use. ! :)
If anyone can suggest some wording that would cover all puclic events, plus any 'private' parties, already posted then please let me know.

In reply to Message (9300.2) Re: Additions to rules - candid and partial nudity
By Wetlongskirts - elgol@gmx.co.uk Mon 22/03/04 20:06:34 GMT I'm confused about No.9 - how can full nudity ever be regarded as wetlook? Wet skin isn't part of the definition of wetlook, surely?
As far as No.8 goes, it doesn't unambiguously clear up whether taking photos of people in a public place without their knowledge (either of the picture being taken or what it's going to be used for) is regarded as being an invasion of their privacy. From the example you've given, I suspect you regard photos taken in public places as being acceptable, but I think you should explicitly state that. |
In reply to Message (9300) Additions to rules - candid and partial nudity
By Nigel - nigel@Wetlook.com Mon 22/03/04 18:49:00 GMT Website: www.wetlook.com Following some recent issues in the forum, I have added the following to the "Wetlook Definitions and Rules of Acceptability and Behavior" section of the rules:
2 Acceptable images are those from modelled situations and candid (Webster's Definition: photography of subjects acting naturally or spontaneously without being posed)
8 No images which are an invasion of privacy (e.g. shot through your neighbour's window while they are taking a bath).
9 Links to images that contain full or paritial nudity are acceptable, providing there is some wetlook, but the message should contain a warning of this.
10 Links here are generally to wetlook females, you can also post links to male wetlook, but these should be clearly marked, "Male Wetlook" or "For the ladies" etc.
