I am not so sure a download-manager might solve your problem if you do have this issue from all those different platforms and locations. So I would like to troubleshoot together, to solve your problem once and for all.

Broken downloads from site, can't get full file - can anyone help?

Hi,

I bought some videos and sets from a wetlook site. The name is not important, I don't know if it's always a problem or just for me, but maybe someone has a hack. When I download the files it doesn't show the size, but it starts up alright but than breaks. At random. I've seen it breaking at 5mb and at 140mb, but mainly i manage to get about 50-60mb of corrupt archive. Resuming the failed download (available on say Firefox) does not work. So basically I can't get the whole file in any way. The support is telling me to try again, to re-log in etc, but nothing's working. Tried using my not-so-fast Internet, tried using super-fast fiber-optic cable at work, and tried using 4G/LTE. Tried on Windows, Mac and Android. And always the same. Any tips? Maybe there is a download manager thingy (free) that actually resumes broken downloads on such servers, when Firefox is at loss?

The owner of the site seems very helpful but also seems to have very limited English, so it's hard to really talk about the issue with him
