Thanks for your honesty about the clip that you saw.

I agree that she seems cold but I don't feel she was in genuine distress, and certainly not put at risk in a warm television studio, with presumably a change of clothes if required. The same personality appears in two of the other clips (which in my eyes, she appears to enjoy), so I don't feel that she finds the concept or feeling of cold water to be particularly distressing. Several of the other ladies also make more than one appearance, which I think is also telling. There are many such gameshows around the world, where the routine of the show is well known and the participants continue to enter. Is it truly humiliating if a contestant / participant is fully aware of what will happen prior to choosing to participate? I think not, but others may disagree.

I just watched the first one of these. Undoubtedly, the girl is a stunner and carries off that dress wonderfully. However, it's also very clear by halfway through the clip that she was shivering uncontrollably, and in genuine distress. By the end of the clip, she is virtually in tears, angry. I don't speak the language, but the body language suggests that not only is she in a physically ill at ease, but she thinks her opponent in the game cheated.

I couldn't watch the other clips. How anyone can gain enjoyment from watching others suffer and be humiliated to such a degree is beyond me. Just because there's wetlook involved, it doesn't make it alright in my eyes. Perhaps someone else can watch them for me and report back on whether they all follow a similar vein, or whether this is a one-off and the girls in the other clips have a fun time.
