You're right. Wetlook actually means it looks wet. Using it to refer to clothes that are wet is a misnomer. However eople are going to use it to refer to clothes being wet, so we'll just have to accept it to mean that. No difference than a pineapple - definitely not an apple and it doesn't grow on pine trees. Nor is a grapefruit a grape - a grape is a fruit. I call the other kind a "squirtfruit"! |
