My guess, it's mostly just like in Vegas.. If they advertise a "pool party" ( And God knows EVERY HOTEL has them here EVERY WEEK) 99.78% of the people attending com preparded for a swim... And for those 99.78%, that includes a swimsuit.. |
In reply to Message (40887) What's the deal with Travel Channel?
By John - Wed 22/07/09 18:10:40 GMT Website: http://www.thejeanpool.com/ There was a show on the Travel Channel today called Extreme Wild Parties. Very misleading title. I didn't watch the whole thing but I don't think there was any wet clothing in it at all, in fact I quit watching because I pretty much knew the whole show would have no wetlook at all. If that's the case, what's the deal with the producers of such shows? There is no way they don't know about wet clothing. There are more and more videos appearing on Youtube showing people having fun in the water in their clothes.
It looks like they go out of their way to make sure everyone at a pool is in swimsuits to tape their shows. So the producers are deliberately ignoring wet clothing. Why?
I think everyone who reads this forum should email the shows' producers and ask why they ignore wetlook entirely. Not spam, mind you, just actual inquiries.
