That picture with Terry Moore has been etched inside my head for 50 years since I was at primary school in the UK because when the series was aired in the UK they also sold bubble gum cards and that picture was one of the cards. Needless to say I collected all the cards. I remember going to a loical Batman appearance event in the UK with hundreds of other kids to see the Batmobile and Batman and Robin on their UK tour.....and being EXTREMELY disappointed.....because the organizers must have thought we kids were idiots...because instead of being the real Batmobile (made of steel from the Lincoln Futura) and real Adam West and Burt Ward....they were touring the UK with one of the 4 replica Batmobiles (made of fiber glass) and it was not Adam West and Burt Ward but some actors in the costumes instead. They must have thought us 10 year olds kids were stupid and could be fooled by a fake Batmobile and fake Batman and Robin....but most kids were not fooled...and we just walked out of the event feeling ripped off. becasue we stood in line for hours...only to be cheated,

By waterspaniel - Mon 12/06/17 00:53:37 GMT The best for sure, one reason that series was so popular. And Joy Harmon, one of the girls in the rain scene from "Village of the Giants" and the "Cool Hand Luke" car wash girl, had a small part in the "A Riddle a Day Keeps the Riddler Away" episode from 1966. |
